The NCCC Surgical Technology program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Accreditation Review Council in Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (ARC-STSA). This allows NCCC Surgical Technology graduates to sit for the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Certification Exam.

This formal program accreditation process involves the American College of Surgeons and Association of Surgical Technologists.  CAAHEP is the professionally-recognized accrediting body for surgical technology programs.  Successful completion of the NBSTSA Certification Exam taken at the end of the program allows graduates to use CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential.
