Students that are self-pay, on Medicaid, Unicare, or Children's Mercy H.P., may contact the health department to schedule services.
CPR classes must be American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider), therefore, you must take a live class. An online course is not acceptable. It is best to take your CPR class in the summer for Chanute students and in December or in January, before nursing classes start for Ottawa students. Then it is good for the full 2 years of the program.
Consider enrollment at NCCC in ALHE 141 Basic Life Support for the Professional Rescuer.
