Kyle Seufert named KCWE Outstanding New Teacher

Salina, Kan. – Neosho County Community College Construction Instructor Kyle Seufert received the Outstanding New Career and Technology Instructor in Kansas Award by the Kansas Council for Workforce Education (KCWE) during the Kansas Workforce Innovation Conference on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

Seufert’s award recognizes a faculty member with no more than five years’ teaching experience who has demonstrated outstanding teaching abilities and commitment to career and technical education. Qualities considered when submitting nominations include an instructor’s ability to exemplify exceptional student engagement skills inside and outside the classroom, excellence as a new educator, or advancements made in technical education.

This is the first time a KWCE Leadership award has been awarded to a faculty member from NCCC.
