Funding Education Beyond High School tells you about federal student financial assistance programs and how to apply for them. It is the most comprehensive resource on student financial aid from the U.S. Department of Education. If you have any questions, you may contact the financial aid officer at the postsecondary institution you plan to attend, or the Federal Student Aid Information Center, between the hours of  8 a.m. and midnight.  (Eastern Time).

  When you're ready to apply for aid, you can transition from FAFSA4caster to FAFSA on the Web. Much of the information that you enter in the FAFSA4caster will populate your FAFSA on the Web application, making the experience of applying for federal student aid easier.
