Follow the instructions and links below to apply for loans at Neosho County Community College. This process may be different at other institutions.
Student Loan Application Process
Students who borrow from the Direct Loan Program must initiate and complete the following steps. This includes Stafford Loans (both subsidized and unsubsidized). You can print a loan process information sheet here.
Step 1. Go to https://studentaid.gov/ and sign in with your FSA User ID and Password.
You can apply for an FSA User ID and Password at https://studentaid.gov/ where you complete the following items:
Step 2. Complete Online Loan Entrance Counseling.
Be sure to list NCCC as one of the schools to receive your results
Step 3. Complete and Sign a Master Promissory Note.
References are required on your Master Promissory Note. You will need provide contact information for your two references.
Step 4: Complete the Annual Student Loan Acknowledgement.
In addition to the above steps you will need to do the following:
Complete and Submit a Student Loan Worksheet to the Office of Student Financial Aid.
Click on Student Forms to download your worksheet. Complete the worksheet, and submit it to the NCCC Office of Financial Aid on your campus.
