Dining Services

Welcome to Neosho County Community College’s Dining Services by Great Western Dining Service, Inc.!  This site is designed to give you a “taste” of what we have to offer.

We are excited to introduce you to our menu of delicious meal options, including contemporary selections of many of your favorite foods along with some of our own specialty recipes created just for you!  This dining site has been designed to act as a quick reference to all of our services, so keep it bookmarked so that you can access it throughout the year.  That way, you will never miss a special dining event.  We look forward to serving you!

The Cafeteria is located in the Student Union and offers a wide array of campus dining options, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.  We cover all your favorite venues with:

• Grill
• Pizza
• Traditional Homestyle Meals
• Full Salad Bar
• Beverages

All students residing in campus housing have a 19-meal plan as part of their room and board package.  You many choose to eat any or all of the meals served with unlimited seconds.  A valid student ID card must be presented upon entrance to the cafeteria.

PLEASE!  Appropriate Dining Room attire is expected in the cafeteria. Shirts and shoes must be worn at all times. Students are asked to bus their own trays.

Food Committee: If you have any suggestions or concerns about the food service, the Food Committee, which is a Student Senate Sub-Committee, is available to hear your concerns.  The committee meets as needed throughout the school year.

GUEST MEALS
Non-resident students and guests are welcome to eat in the cafeteria. Meal charges are posted in the cashier area of the cafeteria. Guests may purchase a multiple meal card or pay cash for individual meals.

CATERING
Neosho County Community College’s Catering Dept. specializes in designing creative and unique presentations.  We are ready to serve you with consistent and worry-free service.  It is our desire to make your special event a pleasant and memorable occasion.  Our friendly and courteous staff will ensure the success of your event and will readily respond to all of your service needs. We welcome the opportunity to work closely with you, providing the quality and the professional expertise necessary to ensure that your event is a success.  Please call us whenever you need assistance in planning your next event.

To make arrangements for catering or to discuss pricing, please call 620-432-0420.  Please contact us with your catering request at least 10 days prior to your event for maximum service.  Great Western Dining is eager to accommodate your special needs!

NUTRITION & WELLNESS
Our commitment to Nutrition & Wellness shows every day in the care with which we prepare meals for our customers.  We start with the freshest, high quality ingredients and offer a wide variety of healthful choices , fresh fruits, whole-grain cereals, abundant salad bars and low-fat and fat-free options.  Great Western Dining uses pure vegetable shortening that contains zero trans fat.  Nutritional information for all products served in dining locations on campus is available to those customers who wish it.  If you have any questions, we encourage you to ask.  Our dining services staff will find the right person to answer your question.

Special Diets
Great Western Dining will provide special meals for those students with medical diet requirements.  Prescribed diet requirements must be documented in writing by a doctor.  Please see your Food Service Director to make these arrangements.
